Sonnedix is committed to building a bright future, and part of how we achieve this is through educating tomorrow’s problem solvers. So, when the University of Jaén asked us to run two training sessions for their master’s students, we gladly took the opportunity.
On May 13th and June 6th, Sonnedix team members taught around 30 master’s level students who are currently studying photovoltaic systems engineering.
They visited both Sonnedix Linares Solar plant (2.1MW) and Sonnedix La Cubla Solar plant (4.1MW) both located in the southern part of Spain, in the province of Jaén.
Led by Jose Sotillo and David Martin from our Asset Management team, students learned how to manage and maintain solar installations, including how to choose appropriate land and install a PV plant, and how to improve the profitability of PV installations.
Sonnedix helped these students understand how to utilize renewable energy and see the technology in real life, and helped equip this generation of students, soon to enter the workforce, with the ability and knowledge to build a bright future.
Thanks to opportunities like these, Sonnedix is making positive steps towards achieving our goal of 100,000 learners by 2023.
