TORINO, Italy – Sonnedix is pleased to announce that it has acquired the ‘VR’ 3MW solar photovoltaic portfolio in Italy.
The portfolio consists of three plants located in Lazio and Puglia. Covering around 10 hectares, the portfolio, made of about 13,000 solar panels, is expected to generate more than 4,000 MWh of clean, green electricity per year, offsetting carbon dioxide emissions of more than 2,200 tons.
“For Sonnedix Italy, the acquisition of the ‘VR’ portfolio reinforces the group’s ongoing commitment to the Italian market, which we are keen to further increase our scale in” said Maurizio Grassi, Sonnedix Italy’s Country Manager
