Site Safety Rules

BASIC SAFETY PRACTICES

  • Only perform tasks for which you are qualified and trained.
  • Always wear the correct PPE and follow all safety protocols
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately and ensure first aid kits are accessible

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

  • Always de-energize electrical equipment following the 5 golden rules unless strictly necessary and authorized by a work permit.
  • Use insulated tools and appropriate PPE when working with electricity.

TOOLS & MACHINERY SAFETY

  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and inspected before use.
  • Use the right tools for the job and report any faulty equipment immediately.
  • Plan and supervise all lifting operations, establishing exclusion zones.

WORKING AT HEIGHT SAFETY

  • Use full protection equipment and ensure ladders and scaffolding are secure.
  • Never work at height alone and prevent falling objects from causing injury.

MANUAL HANDLING SAFETY

  • Avoid manual handling where possible and use suitable aids to control the risk.
  • Ensure anyone undertaking manual handling is trained and instructed.
  • Apply the hierarchy of controls: Avoid, Substitute, Use aids.

DRIVING SAFETY PRACTICES

  • Plan the safest route and give yourself enough time to travel.
  • Load and secure all equipment correctly before moving a vehicle.
  • Always wear a seatbelt, use defensive driving techniques, and never use a phone while driving.

Office Safety Rules

ORDER AND & CLEANLINESS

  • Keep workplace and aisle free of unnecessary objects to avoid tripping or slipping.
  • Ensure that electrical cables are well organized and do not pose a danger.

PROPER USE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

  • Do not overload outlets or use damaged cables.
  • Turn off electronic devices when not in use to prevent short circuits and save energy.

ERGONOMIC POSTURE & APPROPRIATE FURNITURE

  • Use ergonomic chairs and desks to prevent back and wrist problems.
  • Take active breaks to avoid fatigue and improve circulation.

EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

  • Evacuation routes and emergency exits must always be free of obstructions.
  • Be familiar with evacuation procedures and follow the instructions of your designated company representative.

ATTENTION

  • Do not use your mobile phone while using the stairs, and hold onto the handrail.
  • Please drive carefully during your travels. Never use mobile phones while driving.

ACCIDENT PREVENTION & FIRST AID

  • Know where the first aid kit is located and how to use it.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, such as wet floors or poor lighting.
