Sonnedix adds 40 MW of capacity to its portfolio in Chile

Santiago, Chile – Sonnedix, the global independent solar power producer (IPP) has completed the acquisition of 4 ground-mounted solar PV plants in Chile, from Building Energy Andes Spa.

The acquisition includes 19 MW of operational – since 2018 - solar PV plants, under the PMGD (small distributed generation projects) regime in Chile, and subject to the Stabilized Price Regime. A further 21MW will be added once the assets reach commercial operation in the coming months.

This M&A transaction was managed and executed by NatPower, who will also coordinate the construction and sale of the RtB pipeline. Sonnedix was advised by Morales & Besa (Legal), DNVL (Technical) as well as ADVAL (Financial and Tax) while Building Energy Andes Spa was advised by Prothea (Financial).
