Sonnedix acquires a 1.6MW solar PV portfolio in Italy

MILAN, Italy – Sonnedix, the global independent solar power producer (IPP), has reached 251 MW of operating capacity in Italy with its latest acquisition of two ground-mounted solar PV plants from Adoria Partners Srl, an Italian investment boutique that owns and operates photovoltaic plants and wind farms.

The 1.6 MW portfolio is under the Italian Conto Energia (feed-in tariff) scheme and has been in operation since 2011. The plants are all located in the Marche region in central Italy.

The acquisition demonstrates the variety of Sonnedix’s portfolio, positioning the company as a leading player in the country’s solar PV generation sector. Sonnedix continues to actively seek opportunities to expand its presence globally through acquisitions and the development of solar photovoltaic projects.
