Munich, Germany – Sonnedix, a leading renewable energy producer with over 3GW of operating capacity, has signed two Framework Agreements with leading solar PV manufacturers, for the global supply of equipment to accelerate the delivery of its 6GW global pipeline.
The first agreement will see the supply of 750MWp of PV Modules from Astronergy, a global manufacturer in 140 countries. The second, signed with global leading inverter and energy storage system supplier, Sungrow, will supply Sonnedix with 625MWac of inverters and MV stations.
Combined, the two Framework Agreements will provide key solar PV equipment for Sonnedix’s global pipeline over the coming twelve months, and will significantly reduce time spent on procurement processes, supporting Sonnedix’s commitment to accelerating the delivery of projects key to the energy transition.
Today’s announcements expand upon successful agreements signed with Astronergy and Sungrow last year, demonstrating Sonnedix’s focus on long term strategic partnerships. They were signed at Intersolar Europe, where Sonnedix’s CEO, Axel Thiemann was present alongside its Global Head of E&C, Jorge Amiano Goyarrola and members of its procurement team.
